METEX METAL TOKENS EXCHANGE operates under Australian law to take steps to ensure that it is not involved in the facilitation of money laundering or terrorism financing.
Various AML measures are in place designed to articulate our commitment to detecting, preventing and reporting attempts to use our financial services platform to illegally launder money, to finance illegal activities such as terrorism and drug trafficking, or to commit fraud.

The following is a list of some of these measures:

  • All clients must undergo a verification check "KYC" to confirm identity before being allowed to trade,
  • Fiat currency withdrawals in AUD, USD, EUR can only be made to a bank account held in the same name as the METEX trading account,
  • Fiat currency deposits in AUD, USD and EUR can only be accepted from a bank account held in the same name as the METEX account,
  • METEX METALS TOKENS EXCHANGE is obliged to report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities globally,
  • BCT, ETH, LTC and XEM withdrawals may require proof of bank account held in the same name as per METEX account before being approved,
  • METEX AML/CTF program will be subject to regular independent reviews and maintain records.

Person using METEX EXCHANGE will not:

  • perform any illegal activity of any sort, including, but not limited to, money laundering or terrorism financing; or
  • perform payment of any ransomware, including, but not limited to crypto-locker; or
  • give any Instruction or enter any Transaction or do or undertake any other activity, whether or not through METEX, which would or may negatively affect the performance of the METEX EXCHNAGE or the reputation of the Company.
